SKILLS Interpersonal: - Good oral and written communication skills - High degree of common sense and initiative - Comfortable working independently and as part of a team - Strong ability to identify and escalate concerns regarding personal deliverables in a timely manner - Be able to own a task or mini-project and execute with minimal supervision Business: · Work closely with the various systems user groups to come up with innovative, viable solutions and, once the system is live, assist in resolving production problems. · Write business specifications. · Provide support for ongoing testing and issue resolution · Contribute to the smooth, effective implementation of new and enhanced products, and services. · Provide documentation and expertise for new products, processes, and enhancements to all users. · Strong product knowledge on capital markets products - foreign exchange preferred · Experience with electronic trading systems is an asset Technical: · Knowledge on programming languages such as Java · Experience with unix and database (SQL) Qualifications · Minimum undergraduate degree · Motivated and responsible team player, able to perform in dynamic, fast paced environment · Experience with capital markets products preferred · Ability to meet tight deadlines. · Ability to own a task and execute with minimal supervision · Foreign Exchange product knowledge is an asset · Systems experience, including system release/regression testing would also be a great asset. · Attention to detail and accuracy is very important along with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. · Excellent negotiation, presentation & written/verbal communication skills. · Ability to multi-task in a challenging environment.
